Sound investment records was founded by two good friends, Paul Picillo and Jeff Rowe, with a very simple concept in mind: Put out great records, one project at a time. Paul and Jeff cut their teeth on punk rock and hardcore from a young age and have played in several bands together over the years. They’ve toured the US and world together—which has only strengthened their friendship and love of music. SIR is the byproduct of the passion and drive put forth by the bands and labels we have been influenced by. We simply love the music, and the notion of helping to get it the hands and ears of the people that will enjoy it as much as we do. Each project will be unique in it’s approach with one similarity: we believe in the music and the people creating it. SIR was put together by years of friendship, and we want to extend that friendship to each artist putting their trust in us to press and promote their creations. Lastly, SIR is old school. This label is not designed for profiteering. We pride ourselves on the quality of each project. It’s that simple. We are the future of music, yesterday.
